Bannock County Approves Budget
Published at | Updated at(POCATELLO, ID) – Bannock County has approved a $54 million budget for the next fiscal year. That’s about a million less than the current year.
The Idaho State Journal reports that the budget includes a $1.4 million increase on property taxes which will net about $800,000 in revenue. County employees will also see a one percent cost of living pay raise.
About $12.3 million will fund the sheriff’s office and jail, as well as attorneys fees. Another $4.76 million will cover roads and bridges.
