However, the Chicago Bears scored 21 points in the fourth to erase a 13-point deficit and beat the Niners 28-20 on Sunday night.

Colin Kaepernick threw three interceptions, and added a fumble, in the final period while Jay Cutler tossed three touchdowns to help Chicago (1-1) make the comeback on the road. San Francisco (1-1) led 17-0 early in the second quarter, and upped that advantage to 20-7 after three.

Rookie cornerback Kyle Fuller picked off Kaepernick twice in the fourth, giving the offense short fields to work with and plenty of time. His first interception, followed by an unsportsmanlike conduct penalty on the 49ers quarterback, put the Bears on the San Francisco three yard line.

Cutler then found tight end Martellus Bennett in the endzone, giving Chicago a 21-20 lead. About four minutes later, Fuller intercepted Kaepernick again which eventually led to a three-yard touchdown pass from Cutler to Brandon Marshall. The wide out finished with three touchdowns on an ankle that was feared to keep him off the field.
