Eagles quarterback Nick Foles tossed three touchdowns, including two to rookie wide receiver Jordan Matthews.

The game was full of hard hits, injuries and even a brawl as the teams battled back and forth.

Washington receiver DeSean Jackson, a former Eagle, drew significant attention as he was a frequent target of Philadelphia defenders. Eagles running back LeSean McCoy briefly left the game after a stunning hit by Washington defensive back David Amerson.

Redskins defensive back DeAngelo Hall said after the game he believes he suffered a torn Achilles.

After an interception by Washington cornerback Bahaud Breeland (that was later overturned), Foles took a strong hit from Chris Baker.  Foles laid on the ground for several minutes as his teammates, including tackle Jason Peters, came to his defense and a brawl ensued on the Redskins sideline.  Several punches were thrown; both Baker and Peters were ejected.
