First Full-Length Trailer for “The Hunger Games: Mockingjay — Part 1” Debuts

Lionsgate(NEW YORK) — The first official, full-length trailer for The Hunger Games: Mockingjay is here.
Part 1 hits theaters on Nov. 21 but, in the meantime, here are a few highlights from the almost-two-minute clip.
Jennifer Lawrence opens the scene as Katniss, saying, “I never wanted any of this. I never wanted to be in the games. I just wanted to save my sister and keep Peeta alive.”
To which President Snow responds, “It’s the things we love the most which destroy us.”
Then all heck breaks loose, as we see the rebels led by Lawrence, including other co-stars such as Elizabeth Banks and Liam Hemsworth.
One more thing: Peeta is alive and is being kept in the Capitol.
“Peeta is the Captiol’s weapon,” Woody Harrelson’s Haymitch tells Katniss. “The same way you are ours!”
