Fort Hall Man Arrested After High Speed Pursuit

(BLACKFOOT, ID) – A Fort Hall man was arrested Monday on felony eluding charges. Leonard Brunette was involved in a chase on the reservation, but the pursuit ended before the 27-year-old could be stopped.
He was later located by police at a gas station in Blackfoot, but drove away and resumed fleeing with officers in pursuit.
Authorities say Brunette, who was under the influence of alcohol, was finally stopped on the reservation near Wilson Road. He remains in custody on a $20,000 bond.
