(NEW YORK) — Destiny is finally here.
The most pre-ordered video game in history was released at 12:01 a.m. Tuesday.
Presumably, millions of gamers stayed up late or called in sick to work Tuesday so they could take the game for a spin.
Destiny, from the makers of Halo, allows players to take on the role of being the guardians of the last city on Earth. Throughout the game, players will battle enemies and explore other planets, all while interacting in a living, social world.
