Greg Norman Injured in Chainsaw Incident

ThinkStock(NEW YORK) — Professional golfer Greg Norman was rushed to the hospital on Saturday after being injured by a chainsaw. The news came via a post to his Instagram account that showed the 59-year-old in a hospital bed.
“Working with a chainsaw ALWAYS be respectful of the unexpected,” the post said, accompanying the photo. “I was one lucky man today. Damaged, but not down & out. Still have left hand.”
Norman has previously posted pictures of him using a chainsaw to trim trees on his property. According to the Sydney Morning Herald, the Australian native is recovering in a U.S. hospital.
Affectionately called “the Shark”, Norman owns 20 PGA Tour victories, including a pair of majors.
