(POCATELLO, ID) — No charges will be filed against the Idaho State University professor who accidentally shot himself in the foot during class on Tuesday.

Opponents of the new guns on campus law spoke up. State Senator Democrat Roy Lacey, representing Bannock County, tells Local News 8 that the eight-hour training course for the enhanced concealed carry permit is not enough to prevent negligent discharges and other accidents like this one.
