Idaho Unemployment Resumes Downward Trend
Published at | Updated atBOISE, Idaho (AP) – Idaho’s unemployment rate fell slightly in August to 4.7 percent – a drop of about a tenth of a percent.
Idaho Department of Labor officials say that shows the state is resuming its nearly four year downward trend in unemployment rates.
The Idaho Statesman reports July saw a slight uptick with unemployment climbing about a tenth of a percent, but that was the first increase since the spring of 2010.
In all, Idaho added 1,500 new jobs in August.
