“My mother has been moved out of intensive care and into a private room where she is being kept comfortable,” Melissa Rivers said Wednesday in a statement to ABC News. “Thank you for your continued support.”

The comedic legend, 81, arrived at Mount Sinai Hospital last Thursday after an emergency call that she was in cardiac arrest. Rivers has been unconscious and sedated under close observation ever since.

On Tuesday, Melissa Rivers stated that her mother would “remain on life support.”

Rivers’ daughter and the rest of the family have been sending statements of appreciation for the past few days for all the support they’ve gotten from the Fashion Police star’s fans.

“On behalf of my mother and our family, we are extremely grateful for all the love and support we’ve received,” Melissa Rivers said in a separate statement.

She added that the family was “keeping our fingers crossed.”
