(REXBURG, ID) — The Madison Bobcats will face their toughest test of the season Friday night as they travel to Holt Arena in Pocatello to take on the Highland Rams.

Madison (2-1, 1-0) has won two straight and is coming off a 29-7 win over Skyview last Saturday. Konner Stoneberg led the way throwing two touchdowns and running for another. The Bobcats currently sit on top of the 5A High Country Conference standings at 1-0 after beating Bonneville 20-6 two weeks ago. A Madison win over Highland on Friday would give them the inside track to the conference championship.

It has been an impressive run for Highland (3-0, 0-0) so far in  2014. They are coming off back to back shutouts of cross-town rivals. The Rams crushed Pocatello 62-0 two weeks ago and put down Century 42-0 last week. Highland has outscored their opponents by a combined 146-36 this season. The Rams are the top ranked 5A school in the state in the latest state wide media polls.
