Kevin Bacon, Steve Carell, Robert Downey Jr., Melissa McCarthy, Sofia Vergara, Ben Falcone, Anna Kendrick, Tony Goldwyn, and Joe Manganiello are among the latest names to be added to the list of participants.

They will join previously announced celebs, such as Gwyneth Paltrow, Reese Witherspoon, Pierce Brosnan, Jennifer Aniston, Halle Berry, Jon Hamm, Kiefer Sutherland, Ben Stiller, and Will Ferrell.

Paltrow is also serving as co-executive producer of the telecast alongside Joel Gallen.

The broadcast will also include special performances by The Who, Jennifer Hudson, Lupe Fiasco & Common, Ariana Grande and Dave Matthews.

This year, instead of the traditional phone bank, the show will feature a “digital lounge,” hosted by Katie Couric. Stars in the digital lounge will reach out to viewers via phone, Facebook, Instagram and other social media platforms through a new campaign called “We’re Calling You.”

The fourth edition of the fundraising telecast will air Friday, September 5 at 8 p.m. Eastern and Pacific time. All the major networks, plus a variety of cable channels, will be broadcasting it. The show will also stream live on both Hulu and Yahoo.
