More than $109 Million Raised from “Stand Up To Cancer”

Joe Corrigan/Getty Images for Stand Up To Cancer(LOS ANGELES) — More than 109 million dollars has been raised for cancer research in connection to Friday night’s star-studded Stand Up To Cancer telecast, its organizers have announced.
The telecast, which aired on all of the major broadcast networks as well as numerous cable networks, featured A-listers such as Gwyneth Paltrow, who served as an executive producer of the fundraiser, as well as Jennifer Aniston, Halle Berry, Bradley Cooper, Robert Downey, Jr., Will Ferrell, Matthew McConaughey, Ben Stiller, Emma Stone and Reese Witherspoon.
The telecast also included performances by The Who, Dave Matthews Band, Ariana Grande, and Lupe Fiasco with Jennifer Hudson and Common.
Stand Up To Cancer has been held every two years since 2008.
