Police Issue Caution About Harvesting Equipment

The warning is especially relevant for Bingham County as the potato and sugar beet harvest seasons quickly approach.County officials say loaded potato trucks and inexperienced drivers are often a dangerous combination.
Motorists are encouraged to keep a safe distance around trucks and other machinery, and to keep an eye out for spilled potatoes, beets, or other debris that may clutter roadways in rural areas.
