Marshawn Lynch rushed for 110 yards and two touchdowns and Russell Wilson threw for two scores, as the Seahawks started off their title defense by blowing out the Green Bay Packers Thursday night, 36-16.

Before the game, the Seahawks revealed their first Super Bowl banner in franchise history — they then performed like they’re ready to hang another one.

The Seahawks (1-0) held the usually potent Packers’ offensive attack to 225 total yards and sacked Aaron Rodgers three times.

Receiver Percy Harvin, who only played one regular season game last season due to injury, had seven catches for 59 yards and rushed for another 41 in the win.

“‘Lord have mercy, we have Percy,’ that’s what I always say,” Wilson said. “He is a great player, plays so hard, pushes the other receivers and players and they have a great relationship.”

The Packers (0-1) lost right tackle Bryan Bulaga to a knee injury in the second quarter. It got worse in the fourth quarter when running back Eddie Lacy, who rushed for 34 yards on 12 carries, left the game to be evaluated for a concussion.

Aaron Rodgers completed 23-of-33 passes for 189 yards, one touchdown and one interception in the loss.
