Three Infants Found Dead in ‘Deplorable Conditions’ in Massachusetts Home

John Roman/iStockphoto/Thinkstock(BLACKSTONE, Mass.) — Detectives investigating a case of reckless endangerment found three infants dead in a Massachusetts home on Thursday.
According to a release from the Worcester County District Attorney’s Office, investigators were forced to wear hazmat suits to enter the Blackstone home due to “deplorable conditions.” Inside the home, detectives found a massive insect infestation and mounds of diapers and feces.
The age and sex of the babies was not immediately known.
District Attorney Joseph Early Jr. called it “a sad day,” noting that the ensuing investigation is likely to, “continue for quite some time.”
