Three Men Facing Poaching Charges
Published at | Updated at(SHELLEY, ID) – Three eastern Idaho men are facing felony poaching violations. Robert Huntsman, 54, of Shelley, Chad Huntsman, 29, of Ammon, and Jade Huntsman, 27, of Idaho Falls, are accused of unlawfully killing several trophy bull elk, mule deer, and pronghorn antelope since 2010.
Fish and Game officials were alerted to the suspected poaching activities after receiving tips from the public. Pictures of the animals killed were posted to the suspects’ social media profiles.
If convicted, the men could spend up to five years in prison and lose their hunting and fishing privileges for life.
