Tommy Chong Laying Off the Weed While on “Dancing with the Stars”

ABC/Adam Taylor(LOS ANGELES) — Tommy Chong has exceeded expectations as one of the celebrity performers on Dancing with the Stars this season. One secret to his success: he’s laid off the weed.
The 76-year-old comedian and well-known marijuana user says he’s quit smoking the drug while he competes on the show. He says he’s changed as a result, telling ABC News Radio, “I remember things, I show up on time, I don’t get moody. I remember the dance things. I don’t talk too much. When I get stoned I talk way too much.”
Chong will return to the Dancing with the Stars ballroom Monday night along with the 10 other remaining celebrities. Each couple will dance to a song from a favorite movie. Kevin Hart will be on hand as a guest judge.
