(NEW YORK) — Iyanla Vanzant is one of the many stage personalities featured on Oprah Winfrey’s multi-city self-help tour called “Oprah’s The Life You Want Weekend.” The self-help guru tells ABC News Radio what attendees should expect from the two-day event.

“[Oprah] always wants to make sure that the audience is treated well and has a very good time and the movement throughout whatever it is that we’re doing is easy and supportive,” she explained. “So all we have to do is show up and look pretty.”

Vanzant will be joined by Eat, Pray, Love author Elizabeth Gilbert and Pastor Rob Bell. In addition, author and medical guru Deepak Chopra will make appearances in select cities.

Vanzant’s appearance on the tour proves that the OWN host and Winfrey have put their troubled past behind them. After a major fall out where the two reportedly didn’t talk for 11 years, the two famously made up during a 2011 episode on The Oprah Winfrey Show. Vanzant tells ABC News Radio their relationship is stronger than ever now.

“We relate to each other. We send each other notes. We check in with each other,” Vanzant said of her boss. “We don’t go shopping and hang out and make soup and watch TV and cartoons together. She does that with Gayle [King]. But we have a deep, deep love for one another and respect for one another.”

“Oprah’s The Life You Want Weekend” will make stops in eight cities, beginning in Atlanta on September 5.
