The seventh-ranked team in the country put up 602 total yards while keeping the Aggies from even attempting a field goal.

“I think this is as close as we can get to the Alabama football that we want to try to get from our players in terms of effort, toughness, emotional excitement and execution that we got throughout the game,” said head coach Nick Saban.

Alabama (6-1) scored on ever possession in the first half, opening up the scoring on an Adam Griffith field goal in the first quarter. The first touchdown came a few minutes later when T.J. Yeldon scampered in from nine yards out. Yeldon finished the game with two running touchdowns and 114 yards on the ground.

Quarterback Blake Sims through for 268 yards, three touchdowns and ran for another score. Reserve Jake Coker also threw a touchdown pass late for the Crimson Tide. Both Amari Cooper and Derrick Henry had a pair of receiving touchdowns in the blowout.

While the offense dismantled Texas A&M (5-3), the defense was as impressive. The Aggies only managed 172 total yards en route to their third straight loss.
