A.J. Green Carted Off Practice Field
Published at(CINCINNATI) — Cincinnati Bengals receiver A.J. Green aggravated a previous injury to his big right toe during practice Wednesday, causing the three-time Pro Bowler to be carted off the field.
Green first injured the toe in the team’s season opener versus the Baltimore Ravens.
As for Green’s status for Sunday’s game against the Carolina Panthers, Bengals offensive coordinator Hue Jackson isn’t convinced the wideout won’t take the field.
“In my mind, he is going to be able to play until somebody tells me he’s not,” Jackson said. “I don’t look at it like that until I have to. So I’m not worried about that right now. The guys that are out there, we have a game plan that we’re installing and putting in for a team that we’re playing and we’ll get everybody ready to play.”
In four games this season, Green has 17 catches for 314 yards and two touchdowns.
