Allison Williams Says Flying Lessons for “Peter Pan Live” Musical Are ‘Fun’ But ‘Uncomfortable’
Published at(NEW YORK) — Allison Williams is well on her to flying into homes when she becomes Peter Pan for NBC’s upcoming live musical production. Still, learning how to fly like a boy who never wants to grow up isn’t easy.
The Girls star, who began flying lessons in August, told People magazine that being airborne is “about as fun as you can imagine.”
Williams said the harness “becomes uncomfortable really quickly, but that first moment when you are lifted off the ground is just utter bliss.”
“It’s a shame we were not built to be airborne,” she added.
NBC will air the musical Peter Pan Live!, also starring Christopher Walken as Captain Hook, on Dec. 4.
Peter Pan Live! is NBC’s follow-up to its hit production of The Sound of Music, which starred Carrie Underwood.
