Brady, Manning Add to Career Milestones
Published at(NEW YORK) — Tom Brady and Peyton Manning continue to add to their Hall-of-Fame credentials: each quarterback surpassed a career passing total in their respective wins Sunday.
In a win over the Arizona Cardinals, Manning threw for his 500th career touchdown. With a quick throw to his right, Manning completed a pass to tight end Julius Thomas for his first touchdown of the day; Manning would finish the game with four.
He is now at 503 career touchdown passes, five behind all-time leader Brett Favre.
Also with a win, Brady joined the exclusive “50,000 career passing yards” club. Brady joins Brett Favre, Manning, Dan Marino, Drew Brees, and John Elway as the only quarterbacks to accomplish the feat.
