School bus stop

(IDAHO FALLS, ID) – Those who pass stopped school buses could face fines and a trip to court.

KPVI reports that buses in the Bonneville School District are equipped with cameras, which can identify drivers who disregard stop arms when they’re deployed.

Passing a stopped bus is a misdemeanor that requires a mandatory court date. Officials say guilty drivers will be cited even if police aren’t there to see it.
