Cannon Shell Found at Pacific Recycling

(POCATELLO, ID) – An unexploded cannon shell was found at Pacific Recycling in Pocatello Thursday. The Idaho State Journal reports that the live 20mm shell is normally fired out of the Gatling guns of F-15 fighter jets.
A bomb squad from Mountain Home Air Force Base was called in to secure the scene. Officials are unsure how the ordnance got to the salvage yard.
No injuries were reported.
