Delta Customers Report Trouble Booking Flights, Checking In

iStock Editorial/Thinkstock(NEW YORK) — Customers trying to check in or book flights with Delta Air Lines on Tuesday had trouble doing so because of a computer issue.
The carrier says the problem, which lasted for a couple of hours, affected its mobile app and website.
“The issue was related to a hardware failure which required immediate maintenance,” Delta said in a statement.
The problem has since been resolved.
During the downtime, passengers were still able to check in at airport kiosks and book travel over the phone.
Delta said the issue did not delay any flights.
