Dr. Dale E. Bredesen, who headed the small UCLA study, says that sleep, diet and exercise were all factors taken into consideration when researchers altered the lifestyles of the ten patients suffering from Alzheimer’s.

Among other things, the participants ate more fish and took fish oil, B-12, vitamin D-3 while eschewing carbs and processed foods. They also learned yoga and how to meditate while also sleeping as many hours as possible.

With the exception of one patient in the late stages of the disease, nine showed improvement and six, who had stopped working because of their affliction, returned to work.

Perhaps even more significantly, when some of the patients were contacted two years after the study, they still exhibited improvements.
