Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson Confirms He’s Doing “Baywatch” Movie

Dwayne Johnson, 42, confirmed the rumors that he’ll be starring in the movie based on the ’90s hit series.

“This is my beach b****!” Rumors are true… we’re making #BAYWATCH the movie,” he wrote on Instagram next to a pic of himself on a Jet Ski.

He continued, “Edgy, raunchy and hopefully, funny as all hell. Cue slo mo running on the beach… #WhoNeedsMouthToMouth #RedShortsBeHugginABrotha.”

The series, which starred David Hasselhoff and Pamela Anderson, celebrated it’s 25th anniversary earlier last month.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, John Morris, who did We’re The Millers, has been tapped to direct the flick.
