“Homeland” Returns Sunday for Fourth Season
Published at(NEW YORK) — The popular Showtime drama Homeland returns for its fourth season this weekend. Two episodes will air Sunday night, beginning at 9 p.m. Eastern time.
Claire Danes is back as Carrie Mathison, who’s now on a mission as the station chief in Afghanistan.
You’ll recall the third season ended with Damian Lewis’ Brody hanged to death in Iran after a covert mission to assassinate a government official.
There are a handful of premieres on network TV this weekend, too.
On Sunday night, a new episode of the Fox animated series Bob’s Burgers will air at 7:30 p.m. ET. Then, at 9:30 p.m., the network will debut the comedy Mulaney. It stars stand-up comic and former Saturday Night Live writer John Mulaney as a writer for a game show host, played by Martin Short. Recent SNL cast member Nasim Pedrad and Elliott Gould also star in the show.
