New Comedy “Marry Me” Premieres Tuesday Night

Jeff Lipsky/NBC(NEW YORK) — NBC has a couple of premieres scheduled for Tuesday night.
Marry Me, a new series from Happy Endings creator David Caspe, will debut at 9 p.m. Eastern time, following an hour-long edition of The Voice.
The comedy stars Happy Endings actress — and Caspe’s real-life wife — Casey Wilson as Annie, who anxiously awaits a marriage proposal from her longtime boyfriend, Jake, played by Eastbound & Down’s Ken Marino. After Jake upsets Annie by not popping the question during a two-week getaway, the couple decides to hold off on an engagement until the circumstances are right.
The Marry Me pilot will be followed by the second-season premiere of About a Boy at 9:30 p.m. Eastern time.
