NFL Teams Suffer Big Injuries in Week 6

The New England Patriots defeated the Buffalo Bills 37-22 but the victory came at a price.  After the game it was believed that running back Stevan Ridley suffered a torn ACL. In addition NFL Insider Ian Rappaport reports that linebacker Jerod Mayo has a “significant” knee injury. Furthermore, CSN New England’s Tom Curran reports that quarterback Tom Brady suffered a “significant” ankle injury before the game against the Bills, but played through it.

The New York Jets lost to the Broncos but also lost starting cornerback Dee Milliner in what initial reports are claiming is a torn Achilles. Additionally, it is believed that starting guard Brian Winters tore an ACL. In the same game, Denver linebacker Danny Trevathan was helped off the field after suffering a knee injury. 

The Cleveland Browns have lost starting center Alex Mack to a broken leg. 

The New York Giants star wide receiver Victor Cruz tore the patellar tendon in his right knee.
