Pocatello Zoo Picks Name for New Grizzly

(POCATELLO, ID) — The public has spoken, and the new name for the Pocatello Zoo’s new grizzly bear, as voted on by patrons, is Shoni.
The other options were Stars and Weda. As part of the contest, a minimum $1 donation was required to vote for a name. The zoo raised $530 during the contest.
The 2 year old bear was brought to the zoo in September after being caught in a trap in Shoshone National Park in Wyoming.
