Raiders Rock Band Leader Paul Revere Dies at 76
Published at(NEW YORK) — Paul Revere, leader and organist for the rock band Raiders, died in his Idaho home Saturday. He was 76.
Manager Roger Hart said the musician went “peacefully,” though did not disclose the cause of death.
Revere formed his first group as a teen in the 1950s — a band that grew into Paul Revere and the Raiders. The group, including Mark Lindsay, Phil Volk, Drake Levin, and Mike Smith, rose to fame with help from Dick Clark’s TV series, Where The Action Is.
The band’s hits include “Just Like Me,” and “Indian Reservation.”
