In a message to customers posted on the Redbox site, the end of the service was announced as Tuesday at 11:59 p.m. Pacific Time. Customers, the message said, will receive information on applicable refunds.

Until the cutoff time, customers should still be able to utilize Redbox Instant.

Redbox’s streaming service launched in 2013 and was powered by Verizon. Users paid $6 per month, according to Time magazine, and an extra $2 if they wanted to rent up to four DVDs.
