Report: Charlie Sheen Under Investigation for Allegedly Pulling Knife on Dentist

Frank Ockenfels/FX(LOS ANGELES) — Charlie Sheen is facing possible battery and felony assault with a deadly weapon charges for allegedly going on a rampage at a dentist’s office last Thursday, law enforcement sources tell TMZ.
The sources tell TMZ Sheen was at a Los Angeles dental office receiving treatment for an abscess when a dental technician tried to place a mask over his face to administer nitrous oxide and the 49-year-old Anger Management star reacted by flailing his arms and striking her.
According to the report, the technician told police she exited the room and when Sheen’s dentist walked out a short time later, he told her the actor had pulled a knife on him. The dentist was not hurt. TMZ says Sheen’s personal dentist, an oral surgeon and the actor’s bodyguard were in the room at the time.
TMZ reports the technician told police the bodyguard told the dentist that Charlie was high on rock cocaine.
Sheen’s lawyer, Marty Singer, tells TMZ the allegations are “completely fabricated.”
“No bodyguard made the absurd statement to the dentist. Charlie had a bad reaction to the noxious gas put in his mouth and nose,” Singer added.
Sources tell TMZ police want to speak with Sheen and the dentist before forwarding the case to the L.A. County district attorney, who will decide whether to prosecute.
