Robin Williams’ Daughter Zelda Addresses ‘Misconceptions’ About Mental Health

Photo by Jon Kopaloff/FilmMagic(NEW YORK) — Zelda Williams has taken to Twitter to talk about mental health. Williams, who is the daughter of comedian Robin Williams, lost her father in August to an apparent suicide after bouts with depression.
She wrote on Friday about the subject on social media, urging others suffering from the disease to get the help they need, not just for themselves but for their families, as well.
Today is #WorldMentalHealthDay. Mental illness is often misunderstood & misrepresented, but that’s starting to change. Let’s end the stigma.
