Ryan Gosling and Eva Mendes’ Baby’s Name Leaked

Sonia Recchia/Getty Images(LOS ANGELES) — Ryan Gosling and Eva Mendes’ daughter’s name has been released.
The couple, who welcomed the baby on Sept. 12, have named her Esmeralda Amada Gosling, according to a birth certificate obtained by TMZ.
She was born at Providence Saint John’s Health Center in Santa Monica, California, at 10:22 a.m.
Perhaps not coincidentally, both are names of characters that Mendes has played in the past. The actress played a woman named Esmeralda in the TV series, V.I.P. and Amada was the name of the woman she played in the 2007 film, We Own the Night.
This is the first child for both actors, who were first linked in Sept. 2011, when they were shooting the movie, The Place Beyond the Pines.
This past July, reports began circulating that Mendes, 40, was expecting though neither she nor Gosling, 33, ever commented on the pregnancy or the baby’s birth.
