Scammers Posing as Police

POCATELLO, Idaho — The Pocatello Police Department is warning citizens about a phone scam going around where the caller is pretending to be from the Pocatello Police Department.
The call appears to be coming from the department number of 234-6100, and the caller is telling people they owe money to the department and aggressively demands payment.
The real Pocatello Police are urging people to not give you any personal information to these callers.
