Aggies head coach Kevin Sumlin knows his team will face a challenge as the Bulldogs will be prepared coming off a bye week.

“They’ve had a bye week. We’ll see some new stuff,” Sumlin said. “Rested up, they’ll be ready to go”

In Sumlin’s opinion, the bye week isn’t the only factor: Mississippi State is coming into the game red hot.

“This is a team that is red hot right now,” Sumlin said. “Seven straight wins. Five hundred yards a game this year.”

However, Bulldogs head coach Dan Mullen knows that Texas A&M will present challenges for his team as well.

“There’s a reason they’re ranked No. 6 in the country. They’re all-around a really good football team that knows how to win and knows how to find a way to win. We’re going to have to come out and play an excellent game in every phase of the game,” he said.
