NBC has announced that the next season of the show will feature regulars Adam Levine and Blake Shelton, but will also welcome back Christina Aguilera, who hasn’t appeared on the show since season five. Current coach Gwen Stefani will depart, but fellow newbie Pharrell Williams is going to stick around.

In a statement, NBC Entertainment exec Paul Telegdy said, “We are excited to welcome Christina back to her red chair and can’t wait to see how she mixes things up among Adam, Blake and Pharrell, in what will be an incredibly competitive competition.”

The original coach lineup when The Voice began in 2011 was Levine, Shelton, Aguilera and Cee Lo Green. Since then, Levine and Shelton have been the only constants. Usher and Shakira have also served as coaches. And here’s some trivia: all the female coaches on The Voice have either been pregnant during their time on the show, or had recently given birth.

The Voice season eight will begin early next year.
