Tori Spelling Hospitalized for Bronchitis and Possible Pneumonia
Published at(LOS ANGELES) — Tori Spelling had a bit of a scare this past Saturday when she was rushed to Los Angeles’ Cedars Sinai Hospital for a severe cough attack, a source tells Us Weekly.
The True Tori star was coughing so intensely she nearly passed out, according to the source who adds she was eventually admitted to the hospital for severe bronchitis and possible pneumonia.
Spelling’s husband Dean McDermott, with whom she recently reconciled following his highly publicized affair, was at her side, notes the source. The former Beverly Hills 90210 star is expected to remain in the hospital through the week, according to the source.
The 41-year-old reality star was forced to cancel a promotional appearance for True Tori’s upcoming second season.
TMZ had previously reported that upon her arrival, Spelling was initially quarantined and treated like she had contracted the Ebola virus. She was kept from other patients while medical staff took precautions treating her. However, the gossip website confirmed she doesn’t have the virus.
Season 2 of True Tori kicks off Tuesday at 9 p.m. on Lifetime.
