Two Bull Elk Poached

(OWYHEE COUNTY, ID) – Idaho Fish and Game officials are asking the public’s help in tracking down the person or people responsible for poaching two bull elk in Owyhee County. The five-point bulls were shot along the Nevada border sometime last month near the Duck Valley Indian Reservation and left to rot.
Under state laws, convicted poachers risk having their hunting and fishing privileges stripped for life in Idaho and several other western states.
Those who report poachers can be eligible for monetary rewards by calling Citizens Against Poaching at 800-632-5999.
