According to U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM), nine of the strikes were in Syria. The majority of them — seven strikes — took place near Kobani, destroying two ISIS training facilities and three vehicles, damaging one tank, and hitting two small ISIS units.

The two other strikes — east of Dayr az Zawr and northeast of Al Hasakah — destroyed an armored vehicle staging facility and hit a small unit, respectively.

Attack, bomber, fighter and remotely piloted aircraft from the U.S., United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia participated in these nine attacks and all managed to exit the areas safely.

The one airstrike in Iraq, meanwhile, hit  a small unit and destroyed an ISIS building northwest of Baghdad. The aircraft used in that attack also exited the area safely.
