Wall Street Posts Big Gains After Positive Unemployment Figures

RobertCrum/iStockphoto/Thinkstock(NEW YORK) — Wall Street rebounded from a rough week with a day of gains on Friday, following positive jobs numbers.
The Dow Jones Industrial Average jumped 208.64 to close back over 17000. The index finished the day at 17009.69.
The Nasdaq climbed 45.42 to 4475.62, while the S&P surged 21.73 to 1967.90.
The Bureau of Labor Statistics reported on Friday that the national unemployment rate fell below six percent, the lowest figure since July 2008.
