Though last months added jobs were slightly lower than economists’ expectations, the U.S. Labor Department’s latest report released Friday, shows Americans found work in most sectors, including food services, health care and retail.

August and September numbers were revised to show an extra 31,000 jobs added in those months, the Labor Department said.

Friday’s report is in line with the most of the year’s job growth for most of this year.  The U.S. economy has seen its strongest 12-month stretch in almost a decade, averaging 222,000 jobs created per month since September 2013.
