“Big Hero 6” Opens Friday; “Interstellar” Expands

“Big Hero 6” – Buena Vista(NEW YORK) — The latest animated film from Disney comes to theaters on Friday.
Big Hero 6, inspired by a Marvel superhero group, focuses on a robotics prodigy named Hiro and his friend, a robot named Baymax. They’re part of a high-tech team that aims to foil a dangerous plot.
Ryan Potter, Scott Adsit, T.J. Miller, Jaime Chung, Damon Wayans, Jr., Genesis Rodriguez, Daniel Henney, Maya Rudolph and James Cromwell lend their voices to Big Hero 6, which is screening in 3D. It’s rated PG.
After opening in select IMAX theaters earlier in the week, Interstellar expands nationwide Friday. Matthew McConaughey plays an engineer who travels in space with other explorers to search for a new home for mankind. The Christopher Nolan-directed film is rated PG-13.
