Carrie Underwood Is Having a Boy, Brad Paisley Reveals

ABC/Lou Rocco(NEW YORK) — Carrie Underwood is expecting a boy!
The singer’s Country Music Awards co-host, Brad Paisley, let the news slip during their monologue at Wednesday night’s awards show.
Just minutes after Underwood whispered the gender of her baby into Paisley’s ear, the two were discussing Garth Brooks when Paisley exclaimed, “Hey! We could name him Garth!”
“What are you doing?!” Underwood exclaimed, to the crowd’s applause. “What is wrong with you?!… Well, you kept that a secret for a whole two minutes.”
Paisley responded, “Hashtag, Brad blew it.”
Underwood’s publicist has confirmed to ABC News Radio that the singer is expecting a boy.
Underwood, 31, announced in September that she and her hockey player husband, Mike Fisher, were expecting their first baby next year.
