Typhoon Haiyan leveled entire villages, leaving more than 7,300 people dead or missing in throughout the Philippines. On Saturday, candles lit up the streets, church bells rang, and sirens wailed across the central Philippine city.

Tacloban Mayor Mayor Alfred Romualdez spoke about the ongoing grieving process, saying, “Still a long way to go, but we’re moving on. You know… And doing the best that we can.”
