“Dumb and Dumber To” Tops Box Office 20 Years After Original

“Dumb and Dumber To” – Universal(NEW YORK) — Twenty years after they starred in the original, Jim Carrey and Jeff Daniels returned to the top of the box office this weekend with the release of Dumb and Dumber To.

The comedy topped last week’s top pairing of Big Hero 6 and Interstellar. Despite the two decades between the original film and its sequel, the Farrelly brothers’ film brought in more than $38 million this weekend.

Big Hero 6 and Interstellar slipped one spot each to second and third, while the debuting Beyond the Lights finished in fourth.
