“Game of Thrones” Character Reveals Season Five Plot Twist

This past season of Game Of Thrones ended with the unexpected death of Lannister family patriarch Tywin — who some would say was the most powerful man in Westeros.
The fact that he died wasn’t just surprising, the manner in which he died, while in the bathroom, was a bit shocking, too.
Charles Dance plays Tywin Lannister, and he says he found the death quite satisfying. “Indeed. What an ignominious end. Yes…quiet five minutes and you’re in the privacy of one’s lavatory, yes, and the door is kicked open and, y’know, shot with crossbow. Yes, yes, great death scene.”
But just because Tywin dies at the end of season four, Dance says that doesn’t mean we’ve seen the last of his character. “Tywin’s a very important character in the series and they’re not just going to dig a hole and bury him,” Dance reveals, adding, “He has a bit of a sendoff. More than that I cannot say.”
The HBO series is currently filming its fifth season.
